Market forecast: Anti-Dragon shields

In a recent update, JAGEX made it to where the Duke of Lumbridge
will give a anti-dragon shield to any who ask.(after Dragon Slayer.) This will cause people to get vast amounts of them and, in effect, what little you could get for them will be reduced to almost nothing.

White p-hats have been steadily on the rise since Oct.11 to a current price of 511.9m. Black scimi's are selling steadily on f2p worlds, at an average price of about 6.5k.
The dragon 2h sword has dropped today by 9,665gp, leaving it at a price of 1.9m.
The Rune 2h sword has been pretty steady since Oct.11, and is now at a market price of 47.2k.

This fruit is found West of Brimhaven, by the peninsula to the north. When eaten, it restores almost full run energy. It has almost the same function as the Lumbridge Explorer's Ring 3, except more potent.

Today, this VERY DAY I, thewarboy234 will be getting... wait for it...wait for it...
(drum-roll please... RUNESCAPE MEMBERSHIP!!!! I know, your all like 0_0 whoa totally really? surely not that noob. But, Yeah, P 2 P. That's Pay to Play, punk. And, Also, besides this monumental announcement, I, by literal definition, am not a n00b. I have the most powerful weapon in all of the f2p Runescape... the Rune 2H!!! I also have... Rune Armor!!! and... Cabbage Port!!! sooo, More l8r as events unfold.

Dead!

OK, in this post I want to talk about dying. In Runescape, if your hitpoints go down all the way, you DIE. You do not want to DIE. DYING is bad. In this vid, I will show you about DYING. It is educational for you low levels who have never DIED, and for you high levels, it might be amusing because it only does the whole "Grim Reaper" thing the first time you DIE.

Random Events

Recently I have had several "Random" things happen to me on RS. a few of these happened in the same day. There are several kinds of random events. The ones I have done are:

Freaky Forrester

Also, I had a discontinued random event happen to me the other day. The
Drunken Dwarf walked up to me and I spoke with him, as I am familiar with the event, and I was unaware that it was discontinued. He said: "'Eer, matey,'ave some 'o the good stuff." and he put a mug of beer and a kebab in my inventory. My player said "Thanks! and the Drunken Dwarf walked a short distance away, and disappeared very much the same as the way Imps poof away.
And, when I was mining coal, I mined an uncut sapphire out of the rock, for the first time in my life!

The three things that happened to me that day were:

Gem
Drunken Dwarf
Freaky Forrester

Three in a day! that's gotta be a record.

On the freaky Forrester, I had that once when I was an epic noob, and I BLEW IT!

Mercing Item: Wine of Zamorak

To get this item, go to the Temple to the north-west of the Goblin Village, and use tele-grab spell (magic lvl 33 +) several times. They sell for 1000 + gold pieces each.

Note: this item may be extremely hard to sell right now because lots of players are selling them.

I saw this glitch while I was fishing!

Item: Strength Potions (cont.)

Here is the finished Potion photo.
It tells the dialog and show the items better. It also shows the exact location of the Apothecary's Shop in Varrock. Remember: the ingredients for a strength potion are: Red Spider's eggs, Limpwurt Root, and 5 coins.

Item: Red Spider's Eggs and Limpwurt Root

Red Spiders Eggs are mainly for members, but there is one thing that f2p can do with them.
If you take them along with a Limpwurt Root and 5 gold coins to the Apothecary in Varrock, He wil make you a four-dose Strength Potion. If you take enough of them, as in 3 or 4 whole potions, your strength will temporarily increase a level. Because of this, players like to buy both the ingredients and the finished product. The Eggs are found near the Deadly Red Spiders,featured in my last post.
To Obtain Limpwurt Root (A.k.a.limps,limpys, limp) locate a Hobgoblin. It is uncommon for the the lvl 28 hobgoblins to drop them, but it is common for the lvl 42 and 47.

Skill: Woodcutting

Woodcutting is,like its name, cutting wood. You can then Sell the wood, or make a fire from it.
To woodcut you need a hatchet. There is a free one in the stump on the farm on the east side of the river Lum. This is a bronze hatchet. Start by cutting a tree.
Here is the order of hatchets by level:

1 bronze hatchet

1 Iron hatchet

6 steel hatchet

6 black hatchet

21 Mithrill hatchet

31 Adamant Hatchet

41 Rune hatchet


As you advance in levels, you can chop down different kinds of trees.Here is the order:



1 normal tree

15 Oak tree

30 Willow tree

60 Yew


To get XP just chop trees!

the Achievement Diary

the Achievement Diary can be started by speaking to Explorer Jack inside the house you came out of. He will tell you the things above. He later goes on to explain that the Green Star icon is the diary icon. You can click this and it will show this:

to view these, click on "beginner" and do the things it says. Then, after you do all the beginner Achievements, you will get the "explore" emote and an explorer's ring!

helpful Hints:
It is recommended that those who want to fight Hill giants with Melee in Edgeville Dungeon to bring along shortbows and arrows, so one can use shortbow to first attack the Hill giant before anybody does (because shortbows are as fast as a scimitar),and then switch back to a Melee weapon. Players can also use Crossbows as they can be used with a Shield.

Because of the high concentration of players, it is beneficial to memorise the general spawn point for these giants. Once one has been killed off, keep your mouse over the point and click it immediately when the Hill giant spawns. Scimitars and arrows are both faster than Magic.

major money makin' time

Once you have an amount of money of about 10 or 12k, ( "k" means thousand) you can start this way of money making. To make 20 to 30k, AT A TIME, go to the fishing shops in Lumbridge and Port Sarim. buy ALL 1000 of each shop's feathers, then go to the Grand Exchange and sell them for market price. you make a KILLING of a PROFIT!

Starting Runescape part 2

OK, so you've done the tutorial quest, and you are out in the world alone. You may ask, "What now?" or "where do i get money?". First of all, you probably need money, because without it it is very hard to do anything. So, to get money, if you are still in front of the house where you came out, face north, then go to the right. You will come to an intersection. Go north, and keep going up until you see the large cabbage patch in the pictures above. then, go north into the cow field, and trade with Beefy Bill ,and sell all cabbages and he will give you some money . I will cover the money- making processes in later posts.

Starting Runescape part 1

OK, so you want to do Runescape? First, go to the Runescape website (www.runescape.com)
and click "play now". Then, you should see the picture above, then an animated background.
If you don't see an animated background, then it's OK. It is just a setting.
Then, on f2p (free to play) (unless you want to be member) click sign up or register. Then follow the steps, and then you are in the tutorial Quest!
